It's a late entry into a filament-drying category that's been maturing for years, but ELEGOO is showing up with a spec sheet built for people who've already burned through a cheaper dryer's limitations.

The headline number is the 85°C max temperature. According to ELEGOO, that range comfortably handles common materials like PLA and PETG and also restores higher-temperature engineering filaments such as nylon (PA) and polycarbonate (PC) — materials that need sustained higher heat to actually drive moisture out of the polymer rather than just off the spool's surface. A dryer that can't get hot enough is a dryer that makes you feel like you're doing something about wet filament without actually fixing it.
