Black Friday has arrived early at Bambu Lab, and it will stay a while. The company's US online store has a banner reading "Black Friday Sale is On! Up to $450 Off!" It gives a sale window from October 27 at 8:00 AM EDT to December 1 at 2:00 AM EST, and printers start at $199. The same page has a countdown to a separate event: an H3C Tool Changer announcement on November 3 at 9:00 AM EST, which is tomorrow. If you are thinking about buying a high-end Bambu machine this season, that one day matters more than the whole month of discounts.
There is a wrinkle in the dates. Tom's Hardware covered the sale on November 1 and said it runs from October 16 to December 1, 2026. Bambu's own store banner gives October 27 as the start. We could not reconcile the two from the available sources. Since both agree on the December 1 end, the practical point is the same either way: the sale is on now and you have about four weeks left.
The Price Sheet
Tom's Hardware's headline number is $300 off the flagship H2C AMS Combo, which drops from $2,199 to $1,899, a 14 percent cut. Bambu's banner promises up to $450 off. Neither source we reviewed says which product or bundle reaches that higher figure, so read it as a ceiling, not a typical discount.
Here are the main printer prices, drawn from Tom's Hardware and the Bambu store:
- H2C AMS Combo: $2,199 to $1,899
- H2D: $1,549 to $1,399
- H2D AMS Combo: $1,749 to $1,599
- H2S with AMS: $1,399 to $1,249
- P2S: $549 to $449 (both sources agree)
- P1S with AMS 2 Pro: $579 to $509
- A1: $299 to $259 (both sources agree)
- A1 mini: $219 to $199
The store also lists the X2D from $589, down from $649, and the R1 from $2,499. Those two did not appear in the Tom's Hardware rundown.
A few details are worth noting. The P1S bundle includes the AMS 2 Pro, which Tom's Hardware says supports adding a heated filament dryer that reaches 65°C. That is a real upgrade for anyone printing hygroscopic materials who has been drying spools in a separate box. The A1 has a 256 x 256 x 256 mm build volume, and Tom's notes that the current version ships with an upgraded Kevlar-reinforced heatbed cable. The $199 A1 mini is the "printers from $199" price on the banner.
The P2S cut stands out for its size. Going from $549 to $449 takes $100, or about 18 percent, off a mid-range machine. That is a larger percentage than the flagship H2C gets.
Filament and the Small Print
The store is running a separate Filament Mega Sale: PLA from $9.74, PETG from $9.09, and one free spool when you buy ten or more. If your printer already works and you just want material, this may be the best value in the sale.
There are two smaller offers too. A $25 coupon applies to orders over $800 paid through PayPal, with limited spots available. The referral program pays a gift card worth up to 10 percent of your friend's printer purchase, with earnings of up to $600. The $25 coupon is small next to a $1,599 printer, but it is worth knowing about before you check out.
Why Tomorrow Matters
The store has the H3C Tool Changer announcement set for November 3 at 9:00 AM EST, under the tagline "Tool Changer. Game Changer." The page describes it as an announcement. It does not give pricing, specifications or a ship date in the material we reviewed. We do not yet know what the H3C costs, how it sits against the H2C and H2D, or when it ships. All we can say for certain is that Bambu is about to show a tool-changing machine.
That makes the timing awkward for the most expensive items in the sale. Two things can happen when a manufacturer announces a new top model while discounting the current ones. The new machine may target a higher price and a different buyer, and then the discounted H2 models are just cheaper. Or it may change what counts as good value at that level, and then a buyer who paid $1,899 for an H2C last week might wish they had waited. We cannot tell which case applies here until the announcement.
The store also lists an S1 3D Scanner as "November 2026 Coming soon," with no price or details. If you work with scanning or reverse engineering, that is another reason to check back later in the month.
What It Means for Makers
The sensible approach depends on which part of the lineup you are shopping in.
If you want an H2C, H2D or H2S: wait one day. The sale runs to December 1, so the H3C announcement costs you nothing to sit through, and the discounts will still be there on November 4. Once the H3C's price and features are public, you can decide whether $1,899 for an H2C AMS Combo is a good price or a clearance price.
If you want an entry-level or mid-range printer: the H3C is unlikely to change much for you. The A1 at $259, the A1 mini at $199 and the P2S at $449 are clearly discounted against the list prices the sources give. Until we know more, there is no sign that a top-end tool changer will make these machines worth less. Buy whenever it suits you before the deadline.
If you need to dry filament: the P1S with AMS 2 Pro at $509 deserves a look. Tom's Hardware says the AMS 2 Pro supports a 65°C heated dryer add-on, which could remove one step from printing PETG and other moisture-sensitive filaments.
If your printer is fine: the filament deal is the one to take. At about $9 to $10 per spool, plus a free one on orders of ten or more, it lowers your material cost.
A last note on the dates. Because Tom's Hardware and Bambu's store disagree on when the sale began, do not assume a price shown in one place matches what you will see at checkout. Check the cart total on the store itself, and remember the stated end time is 2:00 AM Eastern on December 1. If you shop late on November 30 from the West Coast, that cutoff arrives earlier in your evening than you might expect.
